How to add watermark to your photo

Here's method to make it with ACDsee programme. Mine I use ACDsee 8 but it's quite the same in all versions.

How to do:

1. Double click photo selected from one of your file. It leads you to ACDsee. You'll see it in full screen.


2. Choose Text (T icon)

3. Type what you wanna add to your pic at the Add Text box (mine is on top right)

3. Choose font, size and colour. I think it best to choose white. It won't make our pics looks funny!

4. At "Blend mode" drop down, choose what works well with font you choose. (multiply might be the best)



5. Tried Drop shadow, Bevel. It might made your watermark looks better



6. You'll see the result at Preview Add text. Move it and place where you want.

7. Before click Apply....Save it by click on diskette icon so you can use it for all pics.

8. Click Apply and Done

9. Save as to your choosen file.

A man we can die for!

Yesterday (Dec 2nd, 2007) we went to see the decorations and all exhibition along Rajdamnoen Avenue. Walking through the avenue until Sanam luang (round trip) was 5 km. but no minute to be bored! It was a joyful time for all REAL Thai people. I must say!

Loy Krathong Day

November 24th, 2007 is a Loy Krathong Day for this year.

One of the Thai loveliest festival in middle November on a Full moon day is the Loy Kra-Thong Day. It takes place at a time when the weather is fine, as the rainy season is over and the rainy season is over and there is a high water level all the country.

"Loy" means "to float" and "Kra-Thong" is a lotus-shaped vessel made of banana leaves and its stem. The Kra-Thong usually contains a candle, three joss sticks, some flowers, and coins. People light the candles and joss sticks and launch their Kra-Thong on canals, rivers, or even small ponds to give thanks and apologize to Phra Mae Khong-kha. (The Thai goddess of water.)
It is believed that a Kra-Thong carries away sins (bahp) and bad luck (choke rai) and wish will be granted if the Kra-Thong stays afloat and drift out of sight. Lovers tell the fate of love by floating their Kra-Thong together. If their Kra-Thongs drift away together, it is a good sign of love, but if the Kra-Thongs stay apart, especially at the start, it is a bad sign.

Today we'll join the festival at a private pound where we always go for walk 'coz we don't wanna got stuck on the rad.

Kao Phode Klook

Kao Phode Klook or Corns with Coconut meat.

Ingredients :
*for 2 servings *

1 cup sweet corn, boiled in salted water and sliced
3 tbs. mature coconut, grated
3 tbs. sugar
1 tbs. sesame seeds, roasted
2 tbs. boiled coconut milk


Preparation:

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
2. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and grated coconut slices for garnishing.

Winter in Bangkok

Winter arrives and I'm still alive!

We still have lots of sunshine....

And a bit pouring rain for some day.........

Life is beautiful as always........

Rainy season

It's rainy season overhere......

And I'm still alive though I never like it!!

This year, it came so early and they said it will last until mid of Oct!!
Rainy season always brings wet and dull and it always cause of (seriously) flooded. Yes, it's not around my home but in many provinces.....But, it always cause an Internet problem all around Bangok!
I'm busy as usual and can go nowhere during the weekend. *sigh*

Anyway, I still always happy with my family and I might try some new course!!! Just knew that there're some free courses arranged at the club house of our community. My son will join a guitar calss and...I might join the water aerobic practice...or might revive my piano lesson,.....dunno....didn't decided yet!
